What do the GK-3's DOWN/S1UP/S2 switches do on the GI-20?

Hi There,

I'm thinking of installing a GK-3 into a guitar but I can't find an answer to this so sorry if it's easy.

The manual states that the 'the function of the S1 and S2 switches varies according to the GK-compatible device' but I can't find info on what they do when connected to the GI-20 - does anyone know?

GK Volume: CC#1–31, 64–95

S1/S2 Switch: Patch Up/Down, Octave Up/Down
