GT-1 - Control effects with MIDI foot controller

My current setup is my Boss GT1 in my effects loop of my Traynor YCV40. GT1 is used for modulation only. I run a stereo cable from the GT1 to my Boss FS7. I use one button for Analog Delay, and one for Phaser. Is there any other controller/foot switch for the GT1 that has more buttons for more options?

Yes i know i could just put the GT1 on the pedal board, but i dont like alot on my pedal board, just buttons. Plus, the cable run from my guitar to amp is now very short since the GT1 sits beside my amp. No 20ft effects loop cables. Just a 20 ft stereo cable that does not effect sound.

Can the Katana\Roland 6 button foot switch work with the Boss GT1? That would be great.

A lighter solution would be a MIDX-20 hooked up to one or two FS-6 / FS-7 to get up to four additional foot switches with the GT-1.

I think you can configure with your FS-7; 6 control switches and still have patch up and down if you reconfigure the Tuner and Looper control pedal control to change patches.
