I have a song with some parts written in 11:8, and the only way I have found to try to represent this on the BR-800 is with two patterns: 8:8 followed by 3:8.  However, you cannot bung two patterns in a single step, and with only 50 steps permitted in an arrangement, this work around is not possible because the 50 step limit is exceeded.  Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks!

I'm not familiar with the BR-800, but is there another way to do the math that might allow you to stack in some 12/8 patterns (eg 3 x 11/8 = 33/8 = 2 x 12/8 + 6/8 + 3/8)? Just throwing something out there.

Thanks for the reply!  I had been thinking along these lines too, but any solution would have to use only a single step.  In this case, the "resolution" would need to dived the step into a multiple of 11, but this is not possible either.  I fear I may be stuck!

In fact, I also discovered a bug while playing with this.  If I set an A<->B either side of an 8:8 3:8 section then the BR-800 glitches when it repeats.  Does anyone have any recommendation of how to report this to Boss?
