GT100 and Boss Tone Studio

I have the Tone Studio on my laptop. I went to click it open and got and error that "the descriptor could not be found. Try re-installing" I went to reinstall and got another error that the "installer is damaged. Try obtaining a new installer file from the app author". Is anyone else having this trouble? I also found Boss Katana is this a replacement for the Tone Studio?

Do you have the Tone Studio app specifically designed for Boss GT-100 ?

Which operating system Windows or Mac OS ?
Have you installed "Adobe AIR" which is an element required to run older versions of Tone Studio (which the GT-100 comes under),
Adobe AIR is now supplied by HARMAN.

Has the USB driver been installed ?

I do have the Floorboard and it works. I will have to download the Adobe Air then I'll try it again. Thanks for the replies...

I recently bought a gt100. Installed drivers and studio software from boss.... it would not connect via USB. Kept giving error messages. Eventually I found a small article somewhere on the net saying go through all my settings and switch the microphone ON. Well it worked a treat. As bizarre as it sounds. Hope this helps some people out there.
