1. Stageman Acoustic Amp Model

3. P.L (Patch Level)
4. More accurate Output Modes
5. Loopback USB routing for live streaming

Hi. Sorry for necroing this... but due to experience it may be of importance to others as well.

When trying to update the firmware to V4.02.23 of May, 15th 2023, the MG (global version) stopped emitting sound with most of the patches!
I've boiled it down to the "NUX Device Updater.exe" in the recent "Firmware_NUX_MG300_EN_Windows_V4.02.23.zip".
This updater seems to be faulty, maybe even be for the "domestic version", who knows.
In the older firmware file "Firmware_NUX_MG-300_EN_V3.10.13-2021_Windows.zip" is the "NUX Device Firmware Updater v20813.exe", which works perfectly to send the "MG300_EN_V4.02.23.bin" update and the device works perfectly with all presets and effects.
Just because the original ZIP is no longer available on the NUX site and usually it makes no sense to keep old updates, I'd like to append the working older updater here, but sadly it looks like it's not possible.

One more issue with PC drivers and software updates:
Uninstall every NUX driver and QuickTone and delete all .CFG from "%USERPROFILE%\My Documents\NUX\" before installing the updated version. Otherwise QuickTone will stall on searching for the device.

Another issue with the lousy USB-implementation of the MG 300:
Turn off the MG before connecting USB to either device or PC and do not disconnect USB while the MG is running, otherwise the driver will lock up or the MG will lock up until power-cycle.

edit:
On https://www.nuxefx.com/support.html under Firmware & Software, tools, is a NUX Device Firmware Updater (DFU), which the same as in the V4 package and actually does not work.
Sorry.
Try at your own risk:

NUX Device Firmware Updater v20813.exe
5256832 Bytes (5133 KiB)
SHA256: 4363a37f0ff4cfbbc738aec1b4e7513426bfbdcfc68bf83705a8980d24bd46ff

Must recalibrate Expression pedal after applying firmware update - restores audio output

Nana

Well, this is an assumption i already made. Everytime the firmware is updated and even every time a factory reset is performed, the pedal has to be calibrated afterwards, otherwise there will most likely be no sound at all.

But with the V4 update and the bundled updater, it did not make sounds, despite of a succesful pedal calibration.
