I want ! it sound fantastic!  pure Scofield craziness!  you are an impressive musician,  that is your  freetless controller??
I am very pleased that Scofield is also in your prism, he is one of my early heroes and you made me remind of my days of fusion guitar fever.  Let me share with you this recording, sort of power Latin jazz (rescued from Portastudio to ADAT 10 years after)  I was 24 years old, so excited with my first MIDI tools and my brand new Stratocaster. This song was inspired by a trip to Brazil, and by then my blood was poisoned with the globules of  Scofield, Mike Stern, Scott Henderson and Larry Carlton, with some black leukocytes from Hendrix and SRV  ;D
That sounds "MIDI" of course hehe, but it were my first devices that could be connected to each other with 5-pin DIN MIDI cables. Rudimentary, but how I glad I could live it!

- Roland GR-707 & GR-700 for synth sounds

- Fender Jazz Bass
- Fender Stratocaster custom with DIMarzio Super Distortion pups

Fear just pulls you out of being true to music, which is coming from a place of love. Love is the opposite of fear. I stay away from anything fear-related.

Love both the playing and the midi sounds !
I also played around with midi at that time
First on an oberheim then on Atari :)
I bought myself a gr700 and 707 last year

Scoff was played on a steinberger the smallest one
With built in go and sustainer fretted though

Smash

Love it - some of that is just pure barking mad!! You made me go and seek out John Scofield as I'd never actually listened to him before - there's a great clip on YT of him with Govnt Mule playing Opium - the solo at the end is just off the scale. Helluva player that I've only now discovered.

Great stuff.

Sco with Liebman's Quintet was the missing link between Jimi Hendrix and Albert Ayler FI
Hearing dist and bends slurs etc played in a jazz impro setting
made the connection I didn't hear in my head before that

Thanx
I hope the patch is ok
I'm not 100 % also
I feel that the GP is
more dependent on the guitar
and hex pu than the Vgs
It might be in my imagination though
