I downloaded the Katana, 30 Sneaky Amp patches to my Katana 50 that are available online. I'm only interested in the Fender patches and they do sound good to me. However, although I hear differences in tone, when I swithch the Tone Studio to the editor page I don't see any differences in the EQ dial settings. There are no effects so they're all off. The only change reflected is the amp model, which in my case is either Clean or Crunch. Is this normal or am I missing something.

Yes that is normal, the only difference is the Amp model with a generic flat EQ.
You then tweak the rest of the settings to suit your taste.

Thanks. Excuse my ignorance but if all the stettings are dialed to a flat EQ, with no effects, how do they get their unique tones?

gumtown

Because of the "amp modelling", each model have their unique tone because each model is based on a unique amplifier brand/build/style.
