For any of you savvy GT-10 users out there...
I'm trying to program my expression pedal (built in) so that it's a wah pedal when the switch is activated and a preamp gain control when (via an "assign" ) switch is de-activated. I can't find a way to switch off the gain control when I switch to wah, any ideas?

Read the Roland COSM Library docs to understand  "CONTROL ASSIGNMENTS"

Read ALL the docs in the Roland COSM Library thread  - that has links to PDF docs that explain all VG/GR/GP/GT features in far greater detail

There are many ways around one problem.
The easiest way I see is to use both preamps (duplicate settings),
and have the assigned gain control on one preamp only, and use another assign to toggle preamp A/B channels with the EXP switch at the same time as you also toggle the Wah effect.

Gumtown:
Good idea! That would work except I have 2 different amps setup already (to switch between). In the GS-10 you could assign a setting to Exp sw "on" and "off, i don't see that in the GT-10.
You said the easiest way, can you think of another way?

The GT-10 doesn't do EXP On and EXP Off, an external EXP2 pedal just for the gain or Wah separately maybe?
or
use another effect for the gain control and have the effect toggle on/off with the exp switch,
or duplicate patches but with one having just the Wah and the other patch with the EXP pedal gain, the GT-10 will do seamless patch change if the other parameters are the same.

Thanks for all the great ideas. BTW, does the GT-100 have EXP on and EXP off commands? I've read the manual and can't find it anywhere but Roland manuals are pretty cryptic...
