Not sure if this is appropriate area...

Sounds like there will be a delay / hiatus in new MIDX-10.  I'd also like to be able to connect my KMI SS2 to this directly using USB rather than needing the MIDI Extender (which I also have).

Not clear if the Disaster Area Designs - gHOST Converter USB MIDI Host Interface would work with a GP-10, GT-001, SY-300, etc. for MIDI control, anyone using or try one?

This one line in the description has me wondering if it would work to control my GP-10 + SY-300 using my KMI SS2:

"Any MIDI device that is supported without drivers should connect to the USB Host port on the gHOST Converter, which then provides 5-pin MIDI input and output connectors."

What are, "MIDI device that is supported without drivers"?  Does the GP-10, GT-001, etc. fall under this category?

From their website: Converts USB MIDI devices (class-compliant only) to 5-pin DIN / legacy MIDI

The GP 10 is not USB class compliant.
