Been having a problem with the tone sounding keyboard like. I've played around with many parameters but can't figure this one out. Any suggestions are much appreciated.

Try a Dunlop Slide converter. We vguitarists should not overlook the utility of physical modifications.

Raising the action keeps your slide from bonking into the frets. You can lay your guitar flat on your lap for that lap steel feeling. I use a glass slide but I may try one of those big heavy stainless steel Dunlop slides.

Then use the resonator model, or small body Gibson, or Telecaster. Compression, overdrive, EQ, etc. to taste. Deep reverb for the country feeling. Flange, Phaser are fun.

The PCM tones for acoustic guitars do sound keyboard like- is that what you mean? They are more useful if you set the octave to +1/+2 and use use them as enhancements to models. Also try messing with the TVA.
electric: Epiphone Dot semihollow body, acoustic: mahogany jumbo, recording: Cubase Artist 11 or Tascam DP008
