Title: RC-50- Workaround for RC-50 loop dropout issue....
Post by: aliensporebomb on November 23, 2012, 08:05:24 PM
I saw this video and remembered people talking about the RC-50 issue of a gap between the ending of the first loop and beginning of the next one.

Soundscape 08 tutorial (ambient guitar drone Godin Multiac ACS Nylon Steel SA VG-88 GR-33 RC-50).mp4 (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2SiGG6v6XHs#ws)

Apparently this guy records an empty loop that goes 16 times at 100 bpm which allows you to perform seamless loops.

Just thought this might be of help for those with the RC-50 and still despairing of that problem.

That would work, yeah, although then you have the issue of hitting overdub immediately after play, or there will be a gap there... unless you let it go back around. I guess that's less of an issue in Multi mode.

For me, I've found the glitch to be mostly solved if you hit the pedal a little early, like on the 4th beat instead of the 1st. That's if you've got quantize mode on also.

Another thing you can do is to just play the same part though the glitch. It's like one beat.
