im thinking if there is a '13-pin cable to TRS cable' converter box so that I can patch my GR55 to a looper.

in diagram, GK IN using 13pin cable----> 13pin to TRS Converter Box ----> TRS Cable ----> SEND (octaswitch) to patch

is that even possible sir?

I'm not sure what you are trying to achieve, the details are not specific enough on what technically you want.
The GR-55 can only work with a 13 pin GK hex system, the guitar must have a GK pickup and 13 pin cable.
The OCTA SWITCH is just a 8 pedal serial chain insert switcher (using just regular TS jack), you can not get the GK system's 7 analog pickup signals and GR-55 control voltages and switches into a single guitar jack cable.

These GK switcher boxes are for splitting/switching the 13 pin signal from the Guitar GK pickup to two or more GK, GR, VG type synth/modeller processor units.

If you are looking to extract the regular pickup signal from a GK 13 pin cable, then a 13 pin breakout box is what you need, or jack socket modification to your GR-55.

The GR-55 can't be used just with a mono guitar signal on it's own, it needs a pickup signal from each separate string.
You can feed a mono guitar signal into the GR-55 with a breakout box , but all you can use of the GR-55 is just the effects, no PCM synths, no modelling, no alternate tunings, no polyphony, unless it has a 13 pin GK signal.

Please understand that the GK cable has separate wires for:
-String 1 signal
-String 2 signal
-String 3 signal
-String 4 signal
-String 5 signal
-String 6 signal
-Regular pickup signal
-S1 digital control line
-S2 digital control line
-VOL analog control line.

THERE IS NO WAY to convert or fit this to a TSR jack!!!
But I got more gear than I need...and I like it!

You can insert an external looper for normal PU sound only (no synth, no Alt Tunings just normal pickup sound) if you either

* Modify the GR-55 ,add the Guitar FXI/O jack described here

Or

Leave GR-55 stock and get a Roland US-20 selector and have me perform my MagicBox Mod

If you do want to loop the GR-55 synth,Alt Tunings -  feed GR-55 Output into the RC-300 Looper input.

Although I have been quietly researching this in the background.

Yes I suspected that. It's a great idea of yours. However I thought bringing that matter up would confuse even further.
But I got more gear than I need...and I like it!

Hello guys. Thanks for everyone's reply.
I guess the answer to my question is a No/not possible.

@gumtown - what i want to achieve is, i want to feed/patch the GR55 to my octa-switch, just like an analog pedal being fed/patched to a looper. so i can use the sounds of the GR55 but at the same time, i can switch/use the sound of my analog distortion pedal as well (when i need to). but i guess my question is just opening a can of confusion so i might as well disregard my idea.
