A friend gave to me this divided pickup. Does anyone recognize which pickup is this? It doesn't look like any of Roland's GK pickups.

Is the pickup cable attached to anything?

Looks a little bit like an Axon AIX 101 or Yamaha G1D except for the cable entry offset angle.

No, the cable is not attached to controler unit.

No - thats  little different

I suspect its from an old Korg or Ibanez 24 pin system

ask DR Wayne Joness

It's a Fender/G-VOX pickup.

Do you know the individual coil impedance-resistance/ inductance? I would be curious as to the compatibility wiith the gk unit. This is a much more attractive pickup . Also does Fishman offer a raw pickup like the one shown or is that from a kit?

Here's a link to a little 8nformation about the G-VOX pickup courtesy of Wayne Joness: http://www.joness.com/gr300/gk1_kit.htm#gvox

He describes how to replace a damaged Roland pickup with the one shown in the original post above, which means that its DC resistance must be in the same region as that of a GK-1, GK-2 and GK-3 i.e. approximately 80 ohms.

I tried several times to get Fishman to sell me one and they said no. Not even offering buying a big quantity. Their argument is that their pickup is only to be used with Fishman devices, not 3rd party.

Thanks for the info on the G-vox. I bought a NOS kit off Amazon for $45 shipped with intentions to use the pickup with a gk=2a board that I converted to internal but couldn't fix a couple of damaged coils in the pickup. There are still a couple left on Amazon.
