This looks like a real winner if it can do what the promo says. Does anyone know if it's USB class compliant? Couldn't find it in the online info (paging Dr. Elantric....).

At this price, wouldn't the uad Apollo be better, especially with the bundled plugins?

The Apollo Twin Mk2 Solo starts at $699. With only one SHARC DSP chip, I really don't recommend it. You need a Duo (or preferrably a Quad) to run many of the plugins. So add $200 or $400 to the Twin's price.

The Twin models also have limited input / output capabilities. That's why I went with Apollo rack units. Much better connectivity. But an Apollo 8 Duo is $1999.

I would consider the Arturia if connectivity was important to me. If I wanted the UA plugins, a Twin Duo Mk2 would make sense. Be aware that UA plugins are like peanuts. Once you start eating them you can't stop.
