If everyone may know, have you tested whether it works well? Using a GK3 hex-(mags-)pickup with a JTV? Does it sound good for all models? Including the accoustic ones? And at the same time is able to use a GR-55 since it needs a GK unit to power the GK controller? While the JTV can still be powered and controlled by VDI right? Since basically only the piezos of the bridge is disconnected to use the GK pickup.

Also the new price currently is 250$ I think, so you have had yours at least for a few months. Why are you selling?

The RackVax Electric also has a mainboard that powers the GK controller without the need for a GK unit.
It stands to reason, also because of the doubts of a few knowlegable ones, that the adapter has not been proven to work well with for instance JTV firmware 1/2.x since it was designed for the piezo pickup. Some say it needs professional EQ, but a question/comment whether the adapter does any EQing or provide the connections and impedence copatibility, that question hasn't been answered. Does the RackVax Electric do anything more than this adapter, in terms of a good sound? So aside the extra connectivity it has on the back.

The link of the OP to the product home page, shows clearly that JTV board connector is supported. The different options are sperate. Either the 300/600/jtv, or 500, or 700, etc, for which the first (the triple compatibility) of those options is the reason for the extra 50$ included in the price.

There must be at least a HW installation logistical issue, or something, for which the seller OP is selling it.

The ideal would be te cable connected and coming from the back (custom opening) to the adapter (custom little housing) mounted on the JTV with double mounted tape next to the GK external controller.

Either the cable is too short for a proper position of a custom enclosure box or the signal from the GK pickup is degrading the sound on a before and after basis.

And the only reason this setup might be interesting if it works well, is if it eliminates the 6th string palm muting open note plink. The adapters original purpose and shape seems more for a custom home-made RackVax (transplanting the "guts" instead of just "replacing the Modelling pickup"), like (not with a JTV, but the same adapter version, since a 600 is used):

Correct - there is a lot more inside the The RackVax Electric box than just this adapter
(https://s3.amazonaws.com/images.ecwid.com/images/370003/10655723.jpg)
and a donor Line-6 Variax DSP board

There is a large main RackVax CPU board that is the heart for interpreting GK-3 S1 / S2 button presses and for remote MIDI control of the Variax Models

Its in the Owners Manual

But on the "do-it-yourself" section on their store where the adapter can be found, there is nothing else relevant for the pickup style mismatch. So for what use-case is RackVax LLC, selling them? It seems also that the only other things that are in stock is T-shirts. But there is a clear distinction between what was once offered and not in stock (everything is like an archive), and what was never in teir store to begin with (no trace). While this adapter is still in stock and the ordering system is operational. Also this seller bought perhaps within the past year.

Until I hear a demonstration of JTV Models before and after this adapter with GK, it's too much of a gamble for me for this price just to findout that I won't be happy with it.

I imagine the seller gave up on it. But I also imagine someone has some "guts". To use for. In a box.

When it was available in late 2010 - Rackvax was $1299 - and not exactly flying off the shelves. since it coincided with the release of the new 2010 Tyler Variax that most Variax owners were "upgrading" to.
