This is a BIGSBY simulation to Variax JTV 59 users. Using the tone knob as a tremolo ARM I've seen some ppl installing bigsbys in these beauties, but I just can't do it. I used a very good "the edge" setting as a basis, but the trick is to set the pitch glide value control to variax tone knob using 50 as max value (important! the 50% point is the NO GLIDE position, aka standart tuning) and (for me) 44 as min value. But deep divers can go deeper setting the min value as needed. You must use VDI cable or the cheap version. It will work with the magnetic pickups, since it is only the tone knob controling a stomp efx parameter. I got better sounds using the pitch glide as the very first effect in the fx chain. As it really was a part of the guitar itself, I mean, before anything else besides the cable. You can leave it on all times, just make sure the tone knob is at max to achieve perfect standard tuning after diving!
