Hi,

I want to use real distorsion pedals with Fender HotRod and my GT100 only for effects.
I plug them like that:

Guitar->GT100 in->Effects before-> Send->MXR Badass->BigMuff->Return->Effects after->GT100 out->Fender HotRod

Channel A -> clean sound of my amp (no amp simulation)
Channel B -> S/R with distortion pedals (no amp simulation)

When I switch ON the MXR pedal I don't have any problem but when I switch ON the BigMuff I have a big noise on both channel A and B!
I try without MXR, different power supplies for pedal and GT100... The noise is here!
When I plug the Big Muff direct on Fender Amp input, I have no noise.
Maybe an impedance problem with the effect loop of GT100?
Could you help me?

GT100 Input : 1Mohm (-10dBu)
GT100 Send : 2Kohm (-10dBu)
GT100 Return : 100Kohm (-10dBu)
GT100 Output : 2Kohm (setup on -10dBu)

MXR pedal Input : 1Mohm (-22dBV)
MXR pedal Output : 6Kohm (-2dBV)

BigMuff pedal Input : 130Kohm (- ??? dBV)
BigMuff pedal Output : 10Kohm (- ??? dBV)

Try the ground lift switch on the back of the GT-100 in both positions.

I have just tried to switch ground/lift, but noise is always present...
Anyone have an idea?

If you put the BMP before the GT-100, do you still get the noise?  Guitar --> BMP --> GT-100 --> Fender Hot Rod.

I have a BMP with Tone Wicker but I'm not using it with the GT-100, if I have time (and remember) I can try that in the S/R and see if I get noise though I usually use mine direct to FRFR with amp/cab and NS in the GT-100.

Have you tried adding a NS block after the return?
