I use sub control 4 for tap tempo on all my patches in the GT100.  I have a Timeline in the S/R loop.  I've got my pedal board set where I can easily tap tempo on each but I'd like to use just the one FS5U for all tempo taps.  The Timeline receives CC#93 for it's tap tempo but I can't seem to make that work from the GT100.

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

I suggest a special D.I.Y pedal switch which uses a double pole button, so you can tap tempo switch both units at the same time.
That is one option..

Thanks gumtown.  The Timeline uses a TRS expression input that doesn't seem to play well with momentary switches. I was able send midi from an HD500X but I didn't like the unit otherwise. I love the Boss quiet switches. I was really hoping this could be done via midi from the GT100.

The GT-100 can send cc#93 from either Sub CTL pedal, not sure where to find it on the GT-100, in the system/global midi or pedal function settings.
If you are using GT-100FxFloorBoard editor, in the "Midi" settings page for Sub CTL pedal Functions, you can set the required cc# for that pedal to send.

Thanks again Gumtown.  Yes, I have sub ctl 2 set to cc#93 in the midi settings menu (screen 4).  On screen 1 you get choices for RX and TX channge, mode and device ID.  The other two screens involve other assignments.  I'm at a loss.  I think I have everything set the same (as is possible) with the brand X machine.  I left the settings on the Timeline the same.  I'll keep trying.

I would appreciate some help from the midi experts!

As long as the GT-100 midi TX Channel matches the TimeLine RX channel.
