VG-99 - trigger Kore player drums?

OK - Here's another question: I am fooling around with NI's Kore player...nice sounds. How do people trigger the drum sequencers?? No way that I can use guitar that I can see. I know that may be dumb but my understanding of midi software is limited. Thanks.

Mac or PC?
In Mac go to Audio Midi and make sure your VG 99 shows up as a midi instrument. Decide if you want all 16 channels or choose which ones you want to show up in your DAW.
As for the VG 99, page 65 of the manual shows where to setup the Guitar to Midi function.

Also you may have to alt tune the guitar down I think the notes to trigger the sequences are lower than the standard tuning. they were meant to be triggered on a keyboard.

I had to tune the guitar down 2 Octaves to get the kick drum C1 to trigger....
