I am the owner of a Roland vg-99 and such an unpleasant thing happened to me, namely, the OB20K encoder (above the F1 button) broke. I found this:
https://www.aliexpress.com/item/4000715804895.html
and I have two questions:
1/ Is it the encoder?
2/ It can also be obtained individually, or two pieces?
I will be happy for any help.

Som vlastníkom Roland vg-99 a stala sa mi taká nemilá vec a síce, ulomil sa mi encoder OB20K (nad tlačidlom F1). Našiel som toto:

a mám dve otázky:
1/ Je to ten encoder?
2/ Dá sa zohnať aj jednotlivo, resp. dva kusy?
Budem rád každej pomoci.

The separate small rotary knobs under the display employ Alps Cosine Potentiometers - same as Boss GT-100.

Thanks so much for your question, and to elantric for your answer!

I have a VG-99 whose f4 knob is getting a little squirrelly. To prep for our Xmas show last week, I had to sometimes change a setting a few times because the knob kept stuttering to new values before I could tap the Write sequence.

I'm not in a place, in life right now, to change that part, but it will be so helpful when future me, who has his own place and some room to lay stuff out and solder, could tackle this.

Future me thanks you, too! :D
