the Roland FS-6L DUAL Latching  footswitch is listed in the Katana MKII  manual
toggles between CH A / CH B  and Bank Up/Down on Katana 50 MK2

or any Dual Latching Footswitch with TRS CABLE

so toggling  between CH A / CH B on Katana 50 is as good as it gets for the 50mk2 ?

Rtm

Or use a MIDI Foot controller with this necessary converter

Or Raspberry Pi or Teensy 3.6  SBC and coding

Or upgrade to the 100 watt Katana models with their superior footswitch control and support for GAFC

Head includes MIDI Input for a foot controller

The Katana 50 model has only 4 channels, selectable with a dual foot switch,
the Katana 100 watt models have 8 channels, using a dual foot switch can access the first 4 channels,
but the 100's also can use the proprietry Boss GAFC pedal which accesses 8 channels + Panel channel, and effect switching.

The 50 does not have a GAFC port (digital interface)

I've finally worked out that if you plug one expression pedal into the back of the amp and the other expression pedal into the gafc - that leaves a free input on the gafc to put a non latching switch. That can be assigned to switch the pedal fx on or off. That means I don't have to assign the fx to pedal fx - and can use it for something else like octaver etc. So now I have one foot pedal controlling volume, one foot pedal for pitch shift or wah, and a non latching switch into the gafc to switch on the pedal fx.

This works on my mark 2 artist, not tried it yet on my mark 1.
