Hey all,

I recently got a Katana MKII 100W 2x12" , the issue I'm getting is that the sound is way too directional, if I step to either the left or right of the amp I can hear it, but the sound is muffled no matter what volume, but if i stand in front of it I have no issues and the definition is good.

I also have an MKI 100W 1x12" and I don't have any issues with the sound, everyone during rehearsals can hear it properly !

What can it be ? How can I fix it?

The amp is standing in a shelf about 1.5m High 20cm from the wall and about . Its open on the back as per the original ( I saw that you can actually close the cab ).

I don't know what to do because I never had experiences with 2 x speakers or more. Is there something I'm missing ?

Cheers !!!

Are the speakers wired just like this ?
check the red/black wires orientation.

Yeah they are!

I find it so strange and it's kinda depressing knowing it wasn't cheap !
