The subject tells it all. I love the Box but I'd like to have a lineout that does not switch off speakers as it happens with phones. Is there any mod that can fix this?
Thanks!

I don't know the amp myself,
but the line out jack will certainly have an internal switch with either a make or a break contact activated when a plug is inserted into the jack.

Either way will require some internal mods to the jack switch, to install a shorting wire, or cut a circuit board track,
maybe even install a mini toggle to do the amp mute manually, instead of the line-out socket doing it.

Thanks man! I'll think it over and figure out.

That was my thought, trace the headphone cut off circuit to jack, break the circuit and install a simple on/off toggle to break the circuit manually. Then you could use the headphone jack for line out and turn on/off internal speakers by the switch

If you place a load on that lineout that exceeds the impedance of headphones don't you run into some problems with potential overload?

Mrchevy

I personally have used the headphones output as a line out signal on pretty much everything I've ever owned at one time or another.... Mustang Floor, GT10, GT100, GR55, Fender Princeton Chorus, Yamaha THR10c, etc. and never had an issue. I've run them into audio interfaces, mixers, or direct to powered monitors. I don't know the specifics of the signal to a headphone jack, but nothing has ever blown up, and I've heard of many who have done this on several occasions. It seems a common alternative to line out jacks.
