Does the Boss GT-1 output a stereo signal from the rear OUTPUT?

The manual shows it connecting to two amps, so I would presume that it is the same MONO signal on both OUTPUT channels.

But since they are specifically labeled R and L/MONO I am a bit confused on how I can use them.

I play Country music too, I'm just not sure which country it's from...

Read the GT-1  Parameter Guide   - which details ALL Internal Stereo FX

(search on "PAN" & "Stereo"

No.  It detects if both jacks are used.  If so, it's true stereo when stereo fx are used.

If you only have one guitar amp, use the mono jack.  I usually go stereo on recording & mono when playing thru the amp.

If you have the gear & means to deliver a meaningful stereo performance live, you can do it!  Chorus, compressor, limitor, pan & other effects create stereo output.

So when not using a stereo effect, it would send the same MONO out both left and right, correct?

And one could go into most of the stereo effects and set them to MONO if one were so inclined, right?

If so, this works for my needs (splitting the same signal to different devices).

Thanks all for your help.

Yes, I believe so.  Never did that exactly, but yes, makes sense.
