Hi there,

For particular patches I'm trying to zone in on just a certain range (set of strings/frets)
Call me lazy but I'm just trying to minimize any ghost notes etc

What I've noticed with setting up the splits is it seems you can either start from the top or bottom strings but not isolate say string 2&3
Is there anyway to mute strings per patch otherwise? I could have sworn I remembered there was a way before but now I can't find it out :(
thanks in advance!

I've been using the editor but the splits either seem to start at the top of the bottom....I can't make them the middle two strings for example
Can this be done or is it a software limitation?

on the axon alone, AFAIR no.  If you're using an external synth and you're broadcasting each string on a separate channel, then you can have your synth simply not listen to the channels that the strings you want muted are broadcasting on.

(I haven't fired up the editor in years, I could be wrong)

I'm pretty sure you're right, Steve.
There is just one string split available.
