Has anyone modeled a 1960's Fender Jaguar? I'm looking to do some old school surf rock. (Yes, I've downloaded the Jazzmaster patch.)

Since it's a 24" scale that's going to be real tough to get authentic sounds. I'd try using the Strat body and pickups or Danelectro body and pickups. Mix and mash them up and see what you come up with. A lot of people use the Dano body with the Strat pickups and could see that really working. Bump up the gain/output of the pickups a bit and see what you can figure out. The plunk, subdued sustain and dullishness of the strings from a Jaguar is not going to be able to be modeled unfortunately. I suppose the JTV59 would be as close as you could get vs any other Variax but still it's not 24" scale which is a big factor in the Jag/Mustang sound.
