VG-99 Pat Travers Crash and Burn "Can't Be Right" / "Snortin Whiskey"

I was playing around with new sounds and found a similar sound to the Pat Travers album "Crash and Burn" - the sounds in question are all over "Can't Be Right" and "Snortin' Whiskey".

Basically they used the A/DA flanger all over the "Crash and Burn" record on guitars, keyboards, bass guitar - almost everything except drums (might even have used it on drums at one point).

Anyway, try this:

I find that through my studio monitors this is pretty full range but through my computer speakers a bit too trebly.  I find the Travers record has the same effect so I think it's close.

P.S.  I find this sound might work for a Permanent Waves era Alex Lifeson too!

Nice one thanks!  I created a Pat Travers esque patch too, but - I think yours may be better :D
