Hi Admin,

I set mine up to short the guitar signal to ground on one NO contact and then to short the white wire on the GK volume to ground on another NO.

Here was one I got that says 24V

Heres another that mentions 24V (but in a picture it mentions 12V)

I got 3 switches to try for size but settled on this one in the end for size and feel but it doesn't mention a voltage for this one but when I very briefly put 9V on it illuminated

With the Led I'd just leave it powered all the time, I wouldn't use the contacts with it, I don't use the Roland GK red light but thought this could be a cool way to use it! (As long as I don't fry it!)

I suggest omit / skip the LED - adding an LED ( even the stock GK-KIT-GT3 LED) typically increases the noise floor on the GK preamp power rails and compromises the dynamic range for the Analog COSM Modeling on GK Processors

Since the GK+/- 7 volt power supply is very limited (in supply of mA current), changes to the loading,
an intermittent switching led is going to skew one half of the split supply rail voltage up and down some,
and may cause the output waveform to be skewed into unwanted noise.

But as with all ideas, try it for yourself.

Tried this with my GK internal bass tonight and no luck...I had both commons tied to the vol pot of the bass, one NO fed to the middle vol on the bass pot and the other on the white GK vol.

Bass KS works fine but not for the synth....tried shorting the white wire to the red on the GK vol and it cuts the signal ....I'm guessing it isn't connected to the same ground....If I split the commons (one to Bass GND and the other to the Red on the GK) would that be a better approach?

I must mention I'm not using the guitar/synth/mix switch also I'm not using CN5 or CN6 for the guitar signal
The bass has active pickups...hopefully this poses no risk!?
