Which is best for using midi with a DAW and soft synths?

I read some good reviews of the GI-20. Would a GR-20 function the same?

How do those compare to a VG-99 as far a usable midi inside the DAW?

I used to have a GR-33 and it could do pretty good but it would give you a D with pitch bend to take it up to an E instead to an actual E note. Things like that. It did a lot better on its internal sounds.

Thanks

Thanks

I have a Axon ax-50 that I've had forever. I used to do pretty good with it. I got it out of the garage and got a notebook with XP on it and ran the editor and got it setup but it wasn't that good. Probably have to invest more time tweaking on it. I use an XTSA.

I'm used to the tracking with this VG-88 V1 I picked up not too long ago. I'd like to get that performance with some soft synths I have. Then again the VG-99 sure looks good too, might try and find a deal on that later when I have the budget.

If you discover a guitar to MIDI softsyth system that triggers as fast as a VG-8, VG-88, VG-99  - please let us know.

Fastest seems to be the Fishman Triple Play.
Certainly triggers fast enough for me.
