The wait is over! The ATG-1 is now available.

The ATG-1 Floor Processor is the perfect compliment to the electric guitar, setting a new standard for perfect tuning and perfect intonation all the way up the neck, and opening up a whole new world of creative possibilities.

Featuring instant access to:

A perfectly tuned guitar with perfect intonation.
Classic electric guitar, acoustic guitar and bass modeling.

Antares ATG-1 Review:
QuoteSick! I almost cried.

This pedal is insane! I can't believe this is the first review on it. I've been struggling with tuning problems for years and I'm sure you all know the feeling. I live in Minnesota, so intonation issues are always a problem for me with the drastic weather changes we have here. This pedal will eliminate this problem for you. I got so sick of dealing with tuning issues and spending the money to get a full set up done all of the time, so I was pumped when I found this. It's not cheap, but it works! If you don't have a 13 pin guitar, you will need the Roland GK3 pickup for it to work. It was easy to install and it didn't require any drilling or anything like that. I used the double sided tape which seems very strong. There is some calibration setup involved, but it comes with a start up guide to walk you through it and you only have to do it once. I had it all set up in about an hour and a half. It only took me that long because I wanted to make sure I did it right and I'm pretty picky about these things. If you're not an anal freak like me, you will get it done faster. There are many other things this pedal can do. The capo feature is great. You can change the pitch of your guitar instantly and there are different pick up settings which sound great as well. I'm still learning, but the main thing is the PERFECT tuning! When you strum the strings and hold down the string tune button, you'll know right then that it's worth the price. I'm telling you. Buy this. Feel fee to email me with any questions. Take care friends!

ATG-1 With James Durbin RCV3-HD from Antares Autotuneforguitar on Vimeo.
"I've been working with and using the ATG-1 Floor Processor since January (2015). Immediately, I was surprised, not only by how great each tone sounded, but also how easy it was to master the controls and settings. Instead of having to switch guitars on stage, taking long pauses to tune, or the stress of traveling with multiple guitars, the ATG-1 Floor Processor simplifies the process. This technology is best suited for the casual and working musician alike. To me, music is a healing power that should be available to everyone. The simpler it is to access it, the more people are affected by it and the more likely they are to create their own."

Been A/B testing ATG-1 vs GP-10 all weekend.

I can say I'm blown away with the ATG-1's detailed PU Modeling, Acoustic Guitar emulations, and many other features, real time controls -   High dynamic Range and its incredibly pro build quality. The Expression pedal mechanism has nothing to wear out and built like a tank
More details Coming as soon as I'm authorized to talk about it.
It has Breathtaking clarity, totally pro, highest dynamic range  - no need for a "N.S." Noise Suppressor  as required for many of the Roland Boss COSM Guitar Models .

I got lost in composition ideas during my demo time with the unit  - to be able to change the pitch / tuning / added 4th or 5th,  upper octave / lower octave - change the order of the 12 strings ( emulate the real Ricky electric 12 string and have Martin Acoustic guitar or a fingerstyle modes all with NO DSP Flutter (!) direct foot accessibility and / or Ipad control. with a clear legible LCD display. I used my Godin with RMC Piezo, and the ATG-1's ability to go from vintage spank Strat to Dano Lipstick rockabilly, to Satriani Humbucker emulation  -feeding my Kemper or the Guitar In on GP-10, or GR-55 or  a pair of real tube amps - my '66 Vox AC30 Top Boost and '66 Vibrolux Reverb as a test for stereo -with top strings from the Vox and low strings from the Vibrolux  -with each string panned in a stereo field array.

Steve,

Did you see this from the last NAMM? What is the multi-button stomper called and where do I get one?
I've trolled all over the Antares web site and don't see anything like it

Tomorrow the ATG-1 arrives

The ATG-1 arrived this morning and all I can say is I've finally, finally found the one guitar effects/processor that will work for all of my alt-tunings simulated acoustic guitar.

I knew that the GP-10 was just not processing the GK3 properly.

WOW, simply WOW.

The Godin xtSA works wonderfully with the ATG-1 and the ATG-1 works 100% with the TC-Helicon VoiceLive 3 Extreme.

I'm speechless, honestly.

Yup.  Ain't it grand?  I only wish I had a guitar-mounted tone control to avoid using up additional patches when I want a different setting.

MichiganMike

Owing to all the open tuning stuff I do, only one guitar is needed and no more endless retuning ... I can focus on the audience and the songs/stories.

The quality of the tuning is simply beyond, beyond. And the extremely low latency demonstrates how well engineered the entire solution is.

This is just to-good-to-be-true, a real game changer.

just add the $49 Quiccosound mi.1 for ATG-1 remote wireless control via MIDI over Bluetooth from an iPad running MIDI designer

- the ATG-1 Template is already included in MIDI designer - mount the iPad on a mic stand

I already have a mic stand next to me to hold a Behringer P16-M mixer for IEM.  Adding an iPad would in theory be possible, but all my instincts are to reach for controls on the guitar when I need a mid-tune adjustment.  Would take some serious getting used to.

Elantric - I may have missed it, but is there a group buy for the ATG-1?

Just be absolutely sure you DO NOT UPGRADE THE Firmware in the Quiccosound mi.1 !

Read the step by step instructions here to connect to ATG-1 here:

Elantric,

Thanks for the warning. I do appreciate the due diligence.

Happy to pass on my knowledge.

As has been recently mentioned in other threads, it's important to know what NOT to do !

drbill

What are the dimensions of the unit? I don't see them in the manual or anywhere on Antares' website.

Also, what MIDI out capabilities does it have? Also not easy to find in the manual.

At this hour the ATG-1 has No MIDI Out communications . MIDI Patch change transmission is certainly being worked on.

Elantric,

The mi.1 arrived and installed on the ATG-1 correctly, according to instructions.
The iPad mi.1 app downloaded and I didn't update to the latest firmware.

Turning on the ATG-1 and then launching the mi.1 app on the iPad, doesn't see the mi.1.

Back to basics, try to detect the mi.1 on the iPad ... Bluetooth doesn't pick it up.
Tried the latest iPad Air, doesn't pick up the mi.1 Bluetooth.

I've got the ATG-1 MIDI setting to OMNI.

Any suggestions?
