{hoping this is somewhat the correct thread... :-[}

Does anyone know of a good Roland-centric discussion forum?

Specifically, I'm hoping for something with at least a large portion on older gear -- I'm happily stuck in ~1985-1995 and, aside from VG/GR, my prize is a JU-2. And of course crossover to BOSS is desirable... but I'm wary, as the last BOSS-centric forum I saw was almost entirely about stomp-boxes and the wankers that own a hundred each. :-X)

A few years back, I went hunting and was only able to flush out the Roland Clan Forums (https://forums.rolandclan.com/index.php). They're lovely people, but legacy gear is packed off in a corner, and almost all the discussion is "I want to buy one" and "should I buy one?" and "what's sysex?" and "where do I find parts?" :-\ The D and U families are all sort of pushed together, with the consumer-grade D-5/10/20/110 barely mentioned. And I'm kinda SOL for the S-10.

If that's the totality, is there anything legalistic blocking me from launching a forum? (Naturally, there would be liberal -- even radical ;D -- application of the usual "in no way associated with any actual holders of the trade-marks mentioned herein" boilerplate,) The pandemic has led to me working shorter hours AND unable to waste time at the bar AND a dearth of basement jams AND even the damn gym locked up >:( so it seems like a good moment to blow the spiders from the keys, put up photos, and dig out my scrawled notes about quirks and kinks -- if others happen to stumble in, all the better.

I could add a section for U-110, and S-10

They are mentioned in our hardware Synth area  - aka

/ Tone Modules >Multitimbral Tone Modules 5-Pin MIDI

As a new member I just want to ensure I don't break any ethic rules.  When posting an entry or a reply, can I include, in the body of my text, my web page link .. which contains a description of a device which I do sell from that page?  Please visit the page I am referencing to see what I am referring to:  www.hex-fx.org

Thanks in advance
