I have found someone that has created a prototype that they will take into production if and or when they come up with at least 350 people who will purchase.

Their link is here ...

Sorry if this has been posted before, but I could not find it...

BROCKSTAR

Yeah many of us here know about it but always good to be reminded! :)

And a few already own it. But apparrently the one owner who took delivery mid January and told the world he owns it is not posting a real world review (until his supplier has more orders ?)

It's at our Facebook portal

BluCoe GK Wireless adds 13-17 milliseconds latency- depending on conditions and how crowded the 2.4GHz bands are at venue

And here is the thread where he's been absent 11 months

Thanks for the heads up...and here I thought I finally found someone to do this...LOL
I did receive an email from him encouraging him to take a head count here on anyone interested.
He wants 350 people to step up.
I offered to purchase 2.

Maybe he will come back to the forum... ;D

I just plugged in and sat down as I got older when I played gigs.

Guess I'm the one standing in the way of progress.  ;D

13-17 milliseconds is a high amount of latency, more if it has to be added to the already high GTM latency or even to the computer latency if used like an audio interface.
How much is the price planned?

Dunno how this gadget works. If there's analogue to digital at the transmission end (and possibly multiplexing to use only one RF channel) and (possibly de-multiplexing) then digital to analogue at the receiving end that stuff takes time. In my limited imagination I could only see near zero delay if the whole thing used six separate entirely analogue radio channels - with all the noise potential that would entail. Perhaps all that info is there and I just haven't noticed it.

Caution: the above may contain guesswork  ;D

not a bad price for what it does. Hopefully one of those five people will post a review somewhere.

It is A/D conversion, no data compression as it occupies 3 concurrent channels, and then D/A conversion at the receiver.
I think it is based a consumer generic 7.1 wireless sound system, pretty much a system on a chip (S.O.C) design.
This is where a 6 channel  analog UHF system would be much better, 0 latency.

I have been in contact with Rico about placing an order and the latency for the analog channels...
He is making a "minor revision change" and clarify for everyone.
Maybe he will jump in on this thread at some point...

My GK3 is wireless, it does have very long arial though. One end is connected to the guitar, the other end connects to the synth....

So you are using the shortwave radio band or A.M ?

Starting to think this thing is a POS or someone would have reviewed it by now.

I know it's just a small point, but this could have been SO much easier to listen to....without a great deal of extra effort..  :o

ho hum...never mind... :-X

Oh dear, first two minutes or so meaningless plugging things in, followed by not a single bit of music demonstrated. Still, at least we are none the wiser.

None are for sale, so thread is just documenting a moment in time.

It's a shame, he may be on to something.

Inventor/hackers seem, by default, to be entirely lacking in business acumen and marketing skills.

The other side of the coin, here in blighty, Alan Sugar, Clive Sinclair, both had a flair for marketing, (both got knighted, for no evident reason). More recently Dyson with his ludicrous vacuum cleaners, which can be found in vast quantities at the tip.

This guy may have come up with something good, used all his cash and energy developing it and just run out of steam. When you're a one man band, life has a knack of sabotaging your efforts.

We consumers can easily overlook the blood sweat and tears behind some of these efforts.

Incidentally, Sir Clive should have been jailed for fraud, not knighted. He advertised the first computer and took full payment orders. Fine, you might think. He then used that money to finance the R&D because the product didn't exist!

Yes, nice to see someone with follow-through.

BluCoE must have done the sales versus costs versus (sooner or later) FCC rules...And came up with a dead end conclusion.

Blucoe was awaiting 350 orders, to justify the typical  $10k cost of FCC/ CE  compliance certification.

This Hurdle rears its head if large population of units are produced
