When I ordered my Godin 4 string Ultra SA bass, it was advertised as "Synth Access" - complete with the 13 pin GK connector.

Now that model has been replaced with a new version, which doesn't have the 13 pin connector. The SA designation is identified as "Semi Acoustic".

Perhaps my guitar will go up in value now ... (though I'm not looking to sell it).

I guess the "GK bass synth" market isn't very lucrative :-{

Ever since Robert Godin Retired in 2019. Godin guitars has lost its pedigree knowledge base, as his Sons now in control lack any perspective or hands on use with VGUITAR Systems

I can't recommend any current production models
