Hey folks, I'm looking for one or more MIDI files (ie, .MID) which came directly out of a MIDI guitar.  In other words, a raw, 100% complete dump of the data which came out of a VG-99, Axon AX 50 or 100, etc.  I'd like to get a low-level understanding of how it encodes certain parameters like string bends, amplitude, etc.  Anyone know of a download link to such files?  Thanks!

Thanks, Elantric, great links.  So far I haven't found the exact kind of file I'm looking for.  The easiest way to get one would be to record the MIDI out of a MIDI guitar/synth and save it to a file.  It has to be a raw file, not processed or altered through an application.  I'm trying to figure out how to do that (ie, what software to get).  But I was hoping someone here would have a file they could post....

No idea about raw files but you might want to take a look at MidiOx (http://www.midiox.com/) . It seems to allow you to capture.
