Wrote this for my dad as I felt it was something he would appreciate.

It's about experiences of being University and getting beyond the initial "freshers' week" haze. A bit of a mix of optimism and realistic troubled realisation.

Feedback (as ever) much appreciated  :)

Very nice. How did you record vocals? Did you process vocals with GR3 as well? Drums by Ableton? Very nice job overall. Well done! Your father ought to be proud.

Guitar was recorded through the RIP and processed by GR3.
I recorded vocals through the RIP and added simple reverb in Ableton, and yes the drums are Ableton too!

Thanks MCK :)

Clever use of the hardware / software you have. Well done! Its amazing how much can be achieved with just the out of the box Dark Fire package. We must admit the whole set comes together very nicely in terms of feature set and functionality.

I'm still amazed what I can get out of it.
It was such a breath of fresh air to use the RIP for vocal recording as well since there was absolutely no latency, considering that up until now I've had to record into a relatively crappy Dell Inspiron laptop using a Pod X3 Live and USB connection.
