I have a JS 10 in my home studio packed with loops collected over the years. I have recently acquired an old JS 8 for using it at the music school where I teach. Would it be possible to copy the "Roland Folder " of the JS 10 to the JS 8 with the objective of copying only the loops ?
I understand the patch data may not be compatible as the JS 8
uses the GT 10 sound whilst the JS 10 used the GT 100 COSM .

My 2nd question is - can the JS 10 data be copied to my BR 80 ? I would like to keep the JS 10 as the "master " and update my two machines tie BR 80 and JS 8

Hmmm don't know,
I guess the audio data should be compatible, try it and see.

Thank you Gumtown , will give it a shot , I was a little worried about damaging the OS of the JS 8 with this transfer hence I checked here before attempting the process.
