Lots of internal wave pedal assignments happening to emulate the glitch sampling mode of the Hologram Infinity Jets pedal.

Is this possible to replicate on the GP-10?

Smash

It's a single cosm chain so yes, I believe so

Okay that's interesting.  What the heck is going on there Scott?   Sounds like smooth gradation from clean to "alternative rock overdrive" (which sounds real natural) and then some weird whoop whoop delays some forwards and some back?  I found a video for the actual pedal and I suspect other features could be done in the 99 as well.

Nowhere near that complicated lol! Amp is just crunch, one stereo dual delay after amp getting heavy manipulation!

So I'm trying to mimic the micro sampling of the infinite jets. So the idea is short delay time, and ramp up the feedback and delay input to 100% but then cut delay input almost immediately so you only get a am a slice that repeats until you also shut down the feedback. There are actually one short and one longer delay on this patch. The longer one varies a bit switches between 230 odd to 320 or something like that

The feedback and delay input are controlled by internal wave pedal assigns. Ideally you want a square wave to get the abrupt all on/all off but I've made do with saw. By using sine wave you can approximate the smear control on the pedal. To make it more interesting there's a reverb that is weaving in and out possibly fooling you into thinking there's a bit of reverse going on.

It's a first go at it and certainly could be finessed - put it together in a spare half hour last night as I've always thought the glitch thing was interesting

One fx that these glitch samplers do is insert either a random or on/off wave controlled freeze.

Would be cool if that wave that controlled the freeze could be turned on via a pedal.

They also can pitch shift the delay feedback.

Your patch is very good, as usual, and demonstrates the seemenly unlimited potential of the "outdated" VG99.

Thanks for this. BTW...dont ever sell your 99 again. ;-)

Relax Alex - it's not going anywhere this time!

Another demo of the same patch mix of chords and arpegio to give better feel of what it's doing

Ok I'll jot down the settings and assigns - quite a few!

Then you can manually port it!

Or can someone screen shot from editor?

Thanks Alex :)

You realize my 99 editor goes across two screens, one 31" and one 27"?  Yikes.  I'll try it later today.

I can't post as still can't get in on my home network. It went in once last night then same old same old.

A little late but I was going thru old email, I send links to myself for later reading etc.
I tweaked Smash's patch slightly for my needs, just guitar stuff.
Volume and amp gain are raised and lowered on GK knob
The Jets effect has not been altered.

These Assigns control the delay and reverb

This is a very cool patch, thanks for this.
P.S. Smash, I'm also glad you have a 99 back in your hands!

Smash

Thanks for posting the screen shots - hopefully give some ideas to people.

I maintain the VG99 still has the most flexible control assigns of any guitar device.

And brilliant additions to make it more usable!
