Vax acoustic workbench - what is studio vs live option?

So I've updated firmware and won't workbench but I'm wondering what the studio/live toggle switch does?

Q: What is the "Live" & "Studio" switch in Workbench for when using a Variax Acoustic 700?

A: The live mode removes the room reflections from the guitar output.
