Digitech GNX1 as midi foot control for jamup?

Hi. need confirmation here. I want to buy a used digitech GNX1 to be used as midi foot controller for Jamup, Bias fx, etc.. It has midi in/out. Question. is this possible? i'm using Irig Pro as my interface.

If memory serves, the GNX only sends change, not CC commands.

My mfc10 is eating my brain cells haha.. i can only make preset to change.

If i can setup it to do midi learn. Wiw.
