Hi all,

Seems some of the roland gear had filters built in.....does anyone know if the 33 had one?

The GR-33 does have analog input bandpass filters for each string (pre A /D)
see page 18

Another secret is the GR-33 Pianos and Sax's track more reliably and are superior to GR=55

I've been able to get a [ Stride ] piano going on my GR33 ,
it really sounds great to me and has fooled quite a few .

Bottom line is this unit still nails it on many of it's synth voices
today .

And the GR-33 tracks better / fewer ghost notes vs GR-55

Do you have any recordings of the stride piano?  Would love to hear it!

Recording is the goal - I get so [ tight ] and have to relax .

The stage doesn't intimidate me - recording myself seems to
always come out flat compared to live playing  :( .

;D
I'm determined to get something done/recorded soon though
that isn't flat or contrived or stale .
