[MS-3] Q. If you operate the BANK UP (number switch [1] + [2]) or BANK DOWN (number switch [3] + [4]) while playing the sound, you will hear a momentary patch sound Is there a breakdown?
ANSWER
It is not a malfunction but a specification.

There is a parameter called SW MODE in MS - 3, and you can set the operation when stepping on the switch.
PUSH: The patch is switched at the moment you step on the switch
RELEASE: The patch switches at the moment you step on the switch and is released The factory setting is set to PUSH.

BANK UP / DOWN switches by pressing the two number switches at the same time, but due to the difference in depression timing, the switch other than the currently selected patch may react for a moment.
In such a case, setting SW MODE to RELEASE will improve symptoms.

Set SW MODE in the following procedure.

1. Press the [MENU] button.
2. Use the [1] - [3] knob to select PLAY and press the [ENTER] button.
3. While Page 1 is displayed, set SW MODE to "RELEASE" with the [3] knob.
