Hello there, I've read some topic about this but I still don't get a solution

I have a gr 33 and a gr 20, two guitars with gk 3 pickups, the gr 20 works superb, I can play very softly and trigger sounds from the unit, but in the gr 33 I have maxed the gain sensivity and have all patches in tapping option and still I can't play soft or do tapings.

I was thinking to mod my gk-3 pickups to deliever more gain, in the schematics I've seen a resistor of 220 ohm at the output of every opamp before the 13 pin conector, maybe bypassing those resistors could do the trick? any ideas?

thanks

3 suggestions...

First, double-check your bend range setting.   Very important.

Second, experiment with different play feel settings.  You may not want them all in tapping, that may be narrowing your dynamics.

Third, clean your cables/jacks.
Address the process rather than the outcome.  Then, the outcome becomes more likely.   - Fripp

I would not bypass the 220 ohm resistor, it sets the output impedance.
If you want to tweak the gain, increase the value of the negative feedback resistors.
