Hey, all! I'm getting an ATG-1 in the mail in a few days. It's been upgraded to v3.32 and although I'm way late to the party, I'm still stoked :)
I've been looking through the v3.32 documentation to see what can be updated via midi, and wondered if it's possible to adjust individual per-string coefficients (cents of detune) via sysex?
Edit: if need be, I think it should be possible to sniff the midi datastream from the editor to figure it out.

If you mean changing the string coefficients live I would say it is not practically possible.
Your proposed method of sniffing the editor would only reveal the SysEx for storing the full patch only. Believe me I have tried to reverse engineer this system a lot.
You are better off having multiple patches with different coefficients and use MIDI PC messages to move across them. Unfortunately no documented CC messages exist for the coefficients.
Yes, that's exactly where I was going, haha! Thank you. I might fuzz the CCs to see if anything valuable shows up, unless you or somebody else has already been down that road :)
I think I read somewhere on the internet that Antares had a sysex implementation document, but they (at least at the time) thought it was too complex for us, so it wasn't released.
most controls were in the iPad MIDI DESIGNER ATG Editor

Sadly this template is near impossible to obtain - it was built into older versions of MIDI Designer at Apple App/iTunes Store - but has been removed from MIDI Designer since 2019
there remains an iPhone version here

if you have an IOS device it may be possible to review the MDI Template for the target ATG MIDI controls
I recall only a Global detune

The ATG-1 Manual is here

The MIDI designer template is still available as a built in layout in the iPad. I have just recently used it. As a matter of fact I have added the extra controls of individual string gains that were not originally available. Also some other usability changes.
Attaching the original one. file extension changed to allow the upload.
A couple of changes I have made to expand.

Thanks - on latest MD version I could never locate the ATG template
