Here is one of the main patches I've been using to cover a lot of standard bases without hunting for patches (especially after a few beers at jam sessions).

Upon being loaded (concert pitch), it's a Fender Twin with a Strat at low gain (30) with a bit of compression and reverb.
Ctrl 1 switches to a Marshall 59 with a LP at high gain (100) - same reverb, no compression
Ctrl 2 drops to everything half a step to Eb
Crtl 3 - delay on off
Ctrl 4 - switches to a Deluxe Crunch amp at mid gain (60). It'll be a Strat w/ compression on if switched from Twin, or a LP w/o compression if switched from Marshall.
Sw 1 & 2 controls pickup selection - 5 way on the Strat/3 way on the LP
Pedal - wah
Amps eq's are roughly flat.
Feel free to use and tweak if you like...

Pretty much the holy grail right there. ;)

Thanks...It's not perfect, but I like to place it every 3rd  to 5th patch in a live set to make sure I don't have to "hunt" for a patch.

I also typically place this acoustic patch somewhere near it.  I'm not going to explain it in depth, but it loads as a MA28 (concert pitch) and

Ctrl 2 – 12 String
Ctrl 1 – Open E
Crtl 3 - Delay
