Replicating vg99 internal wave as pedal?

One of my favourite tricks in VG99 is automating a cyclic on off for the rotary effect on organ COSM. Makes it sound more realistic and I don't have to think about pressing more pedals when I'm already tied up with the hold pedal.

My acoustic rig is VAX acoustic 70p with FTP into iPad and IK Blueboard.

Ideally what is like is a hardware pedal that could be plugged into one of the blueboard's expression Jack's and short the Jack at a selectable interval and for selectable duration via two pots (rate and hold dutation).

I guess it's a glorified unstable circuit.

Anyone any ideas on a base circuit diagram I could use to build?

He's back. :)

I think that vg-99 modulation scheme that you use for nylon escapism is brilliant.

I've applied it to other patches and it really gives the sound movement.

Maybe this is what you are after:

To control a switch, you could connect a NPN transistor with emitter to ground, base via a 100k resistor to pin 3 of the 555 and the collector to the input of the expression jack. You may have to add a pull up resistor o the ring of the expression input as well.

Ooo...that looks like the kiddy - cheap parts so I'm defo gonna have a go at this. Thanks
