I have slowed down making patches, but this one was in my head so I went ahead and finished it.

The ARP 2600 was a Big League synth in the early Seventies, expensive and highly-coveted for its patch panel versatility. ARP products had a reedy characteristic sound that was quite different than the rounded and fat Moog tones of the day.

This patch uses all of the resources in the SY to create a sound that any synth programmer with a 2600 would have been proud to make. Back in the day this would have also required a couple of outboard boxes to pull off. Its off-kilter sci-fi/eccentric sound would have been embraced by a band such as Gentle Giant or found its way into funky jazz via Herbie Hancock or Weather Report.

Exp pedal controls phase shift rate.

Example attached.
This is a BIG SYNTH SOUND!

Really interesting  programming ideas too.
The envelope filter (Touch Wah) on the return signal adds in another synth voice.  The use of the "step-rate" on the phaser creates a sequencer like sound.  There is no sequencer used in this patch.  As the rate of the phaser slows (Exp heel), the sequencer-like sound fades out.   The example starts with the exp in the toe position, and moves to the heel position at the end.
