Might not hurt to ask- Is there any VST that does whatever it is that SY-300 does to create Synths sounds?

U-He Zebra can work with  an Analog input signal ( like a Guitar )

Some use a break out box and a multichannel interface ( or a GP-10) and powerful computer to run 6 instances of Zebra or Reaktor  ( one per string)

A monophonic guitar synthesizer that processes audio input from an electric guitar. The tracking algorithm is based on the blindingly fast analog pitch tracker of the Roland GR-300.

The GSynth2 is monophonic:

Thanks! i have Reaktor I've never used, Kontakt takes up most of my time. Wish the OSC section of the SY-300 was available as a software but thanks, this points me to the right direction.
