I've used the univibe a lot especially with GT-1 and also GP-10.
I don't feel that the sound of the classic vibe in SY-1000 is at all the same or up to par , I really don't like it .
The Univibe in GT and GP sounds and feels much better imho.
Am I missing something here?
Isn't the classic vibe supposed to be the "original" and therefore "better"  ?

I play Country music too, I'm just not sure which country it's from...

Original = better ?
not sure in general (remembering some of the noisy/hissy 70's pedals)

I had noticed the name change on the uni-vibe vs classic vibe, thought it was just that, so maybe  will have a closer listen to the classic-vibe.

Yeah I do remember that to, that's why I put it in quotation marks.
But nowadays especially among guitarist and marketers
that seems to be the assumption.

( I remember putting a attenuater, the size of a small car on a fender twin. That was only to make it not loud enough to be able to be in the same block.
you could fry an egg or a couple of pigs on there and you'd have to wait an hour before putting the cover back on , or it'd go up in flames. No master volume on those old things , adding a booster to get some valve like distortion.)

And yes please have a listen and comparison especially between the SY and the GT
