I'll be posting all of the patches I've made over the last 8 months or so in the next few days. Sorry for the delay I know I've said I would on several occasions.
I was hoping that Boss might get behind some of them and publicise them through tone central but they're not being responsive. Could be that they want to get the SY1000 right before they push anything else with it. My sense is that it's 'on, on, on to the next one' in terms of product release and SY1000 might soon get consigned as a historical product release.

#1 common misconception among every Boss MFX User regarding "Boss Tone Central", its NOT  a User to User Patch sharing Resource. Instead its always been a tightly controlled site where Boss provides a small set of optional Patches" from the same staff who created the official Factory  patches - problem is with only 6 people on Roland/Boss payroll creating all the " Boss Tone Central" patches, its extremely restricting and not able best showcase what Boss MFX gear can actually do.

Many believe Boss SY-1000 can only make sounds for Ghostbusters movie theme song.

Its been proven the patches created by members of VGUITARFORUMS , where 35,000 members from around the globe with diverse cultures and music genres can join for free and exchange ideas and review all the settings of our custom patches without being shackled or subject to "peer review" gatekeepers" provides the widest range of outside the box thinking for new sonic expression as each of us bring a unique set of knowledge  & experience when building patches many of us share with our 14 year old community here:

If Boss was serious, they would encourage users to create and share at Boss Tone Stidio- but their argument is lack of budget and lack of infrastructure to support user to user patch sharing.

In 2021 its become an embarrassing omission,  because all their competitors do provide a web site where users may share patches.

It seems like Boss are looking a gift horse in the mouth with something like the SY1000 and really good user patches. The tone central ones they publicised were pretty weak. If you look at the range of the possibilities of this pedal it's pretty astounding and yet, as you say all we get is the Ghostbusters theme, a bit of an own goal in my book.

This is the web site where SY-1000 users should be sharing patches.

But at last count I think there are more than 100 Boss gripes for every 1 shared patch.
