VHT amps with iOS ToneLink

Anybody tried these valve amps that you plug your iOS straight in to?
Uses audio cable and compatible with all iOS apps like biasfx, Tonebridge etc

It uses the 3.5mm TRRS headset jack connection - so its doomed to exhibit lots of hisss and possible feedback on high gain

Why?

because it runs all audio from the amp thru the noisy built in Apple Mic preamp circuit inside iPhone  / iPad

A 24bit USB Class Compliant Audio interface will be superior  - just make sure it works with IOS 11 ( which "broke" many IOS USB audio interfaces.

Just testing the water.
Already use a sonic port vx and considering using this in the effects loop of a tube amp. This was a possible alternative
